Neo4j Desktop is free to download and includes a Neo4j Enterprise Edition Developer license. This gives you access to all the capabilities and features of Neo4j Enterprise Edition, with the limitation that these can only be used by you and on a single machine.

Neo4j Desktop can be found at the Neo4j Download center and is available on Mac, Linux, and Windows.

Step 1:

Go to https://neo4j.com/download-center/#desktop to download the desktop version of Neo4j.

Step 2:

Download Neo4j Desktop by Clicking on Download, beside the installer you will get the installation key at this step as well. 

Step 3:

Go to Downloads, navigate to the newly downloaded file and Run the Installer (Neo4j Desktop Setup 1.4.5.exe)

Step 4:

Once installation starts you can choose if this application is only for you or all the users on this computer

Step 5:

Choose Install Location and Click on Install. For better performance choose SSD drive.

Step 6:

Installation will take 2-3 minutes to complete. Once Completed click on “Run Neo4j Desktop”.

Step 7:

Choose Private or Public Network in “Windows Firewall” popup, to make Neo4j accessible over the Network.
